Up to 16 per cent pay hike for Dubai government workers


Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Executive Council of Dubai, announced on Monday, that Government employees in Dubai will get average of 10% to maximum 16% increment in their salary, which is effective from January 1, 2020. The new scheme is aligned with Dubai’s strategy to develop the government ‘s work system, establish the emirate as a model for government operations and investment in human capital to enhance innovation and productivity.

The development follows directives of His Highness Saikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice President and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai.
